The Company

Firefly Green Fuels won the ‘Green Fuels, Green Skies’ grant from the Department for Transport in 2021 and has since received funding and signed an off-take agreement with Wizz Air to take their sewage-to-SAF solution from Conception through to the Manufacturing phase.

The Challenge

After securing the location for their first Manufacturing facility, the next step was to add senior engineers from outside the founders' network to work closely with their chosen EPC, overseeing the site's construction. The initial focus was on filling two key roles, a Technical Lead and an Engineering Project Manager, with plans to expand the team further once these hires were in place and fully integrated.
