Agriculture Project Manager
SRG are delighted to be working with an exciting and impactful organisation who supply goods and services into the agricultural sector, both in Scotland and further afield. This organisation specialise in the production and marketing of flowers, bulbs and arable crops with a primary focus on production in the North East of Scotland, and exporting from there. this exciting organisation are now on the lookout for a commercially astute agriculture project manager to join their team in the North East.
The Role
As the agricultural project manager most of your time will be dedicated to the management and successful delivery of a diverse range of projects focussing on daffodil bulbs, flowers and potatoes. These projects include but are not limited to; field trials, commercial development, or R&D projects. This role presents the opportunity to work alongside a wide team of farmers and industry experts to develop the agricultural output and success of the organisation.
As part of this role you will also be heavily involved in business development & marketing activities on behalf of the organisation, representing the teams at conferences and other similar events.
The Right Person
- Industrial experience within horticulture/agriculture
- Experience in project/programme management
- Experience with and understanding of crop production systems
