SRG are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our client's Analytical Support Team in Elgin, during the upcoming barley harvest.

As part of the Harvest Intake operations, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the processes, carrying out high-quality laboratory analysis to assess the quality of incoming barley.

You will be required to work a rotation of early and back shifts and must be able to drive to the site in your own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform barley intake analysis to a high and consistent standard.
• Ensure rapid and accurate communication of results to support timely decision-making.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain the fast pace and accuracy of the intake process.
• Support and uphold Health & Safety procedures within a laboratory environment.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Practical laboratory experience.
• Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
• Proven ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Familiarity with Health and Safety standards relevant to lab work.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other standard business software packages.
• Driving licence and own vehicle.
