SRG are partnered with a global medical products and technologies company. Our client is focused on solutions for the management of chronic conditions, with leading positions in advanced wound care, ostomy care, continence care, and infusion care.

Our client is seeking a Healthcare Development Manager to join their team.

This is a 100% field-based role and the territory you will be covering is Birmingham / Solihull / Coventry / Warwickshire.

About the role:

The primary function of the Healthcare Development Manager in Advanced Wound Care is to accelerate the clinical and economic adoption of the business brands in the acute & community sector. Through partnership working with multiple key stakeholders within the ICS's & ICB's, we are looking to improve access to the business range via the production of care pathways and guidelines and the inclusion of brands on formularies. Development of Health Economic packages & sales collateral to broaden funding for products in key therapeutic areas as well as supporting the inclusion of brands on formularies in the Community are key objectives for our Healthcare Development Manager (HDM).

Role responsibilities

  • Developing and delivering strategic account management plans to increase product usage in focus accounts
  • Maximizing product access through formulary inclusion and guideline development in conjunction with Medical Affairs
  • Managing project oriented cooperation in designated accounts, developing project work plans with local account managers Job Description
  • Developing flexible solutions for Trust/Community accounts to maximize implementation and adoption across the designated portfolio
  • Identifying, engaging and maintaining relationships with Key Opinion leaders, decision makers & new influential customers within the LHE
  • Helping to accelerate adoption of new technologies
  • Producing and delivering business cases for Formulary listings
  • Initiating audits to gather prevalence data where appropriate
  • Managing local expense budget for best ROI

About You:

  • Experience in wound care desired
  • Your multi-role sales experience including direct selling, influencing and customer management.
  • High standards approach delivering upper quartile sales performance on a consistent basis.
  • Your ability to manipulate, analyse and interpret data from a variety of sources and through effective decision-making, planning and implementation delivering superior business results
  • Your appetite to lead projects and to set your own objectives
  • A mix of delivering against both the long and shorter term business goals
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to network across our large customer accounts
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • An understanding of the structure, strategies and key priorities of the NHS and up-to-date NHS terminology
  • Experience of driving product access within the NHS (community or hospital) to drive demonstrable business growth
  • Experience of working with a wide range of specialist and culturally diverse people, influencing them to get things done.
  • Delivery of value-added business results even within tight deadlines.
  • Commercial acumen and financial accountability through managing budgets and resource planning
  • Excellent working knowledge of pc and software packages. Ability to input and produce spreadsheets supporting analysis of account performance. Can produce and adapt presentations
