SRG are delighted to be partnered with a world-leading cell and gene therapy manufacturing organisation based in Edinburgh as they continue their exciting expansion programme. As part of this expansion this company are seeking a shift-based Senior QC Analyst with an analytical background to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As Senior Quality Control analyst you will join a large, highly experienced quality function to test clinical and commercial cell and gene therapy projects/products. You will be a key point of contact for a variety of QC assays with a particular focus on flow cytometry.

As this is a senior position you will be responsible for leading the analytical quality control team on a shift, being a go-to person for technical queries related to the workflow and general GMP enquiries. As well as being a key figure in the QC team you will collaborate closely with manufacturing/production to ensure GMP method transfer and compliance.

The Right Person

• Demonstrable prior experience in a GMP quality control lab environment
• Team leadership experience
• Expert level practical knowledge of flow cytometry
• Experience in assay validation
• Prior experience in a cell and gene therapy manufacturing organisation
