Engineering Maintenance Technician


Manufacturing | Automation | Regulated Environment
A global manufacturing site is seeking an experienced Engineering Maintenance Technician to support high‑speed automated production equipment in a regulated environment.
This is a hands‑on role with responsibility for planned and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and equipment reliability, working closely with engineering and operations teams.
Key Duties

  • Maintain and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and controls faults
  • Support equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to downtime reduction, OEE, and reliability initiatives
  • Work safely and in line with site and regulatory requirements


Background Required

  • Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic trade qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience in high‑volume manufacturing (medical device, pharma, food, etc.)
  • Strong hands‑on troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills


Desirable

  • PLC‑controlled automation and vision systems
  • Exposure to validation or change control processes
