Shift Supervisor

A leading engineering manufacturer is seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to lead shop‑floor production teams within a fabrication‑intensive environment. This is a rotating shift role in a fast‑paced manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate fabrication teams to deliver daily production targets
• Ensure quality, cost, safety, and delivery commitments are met
• Manage workflow, labour allocation, and materials across multiple areas
• Lead daily shift handovers and production reviews
• Enforce SOPs, Health & Safety standards, and 6S practices
• Drive continuous improvement aligned with LEAN principles
• Coach, develop, and performance‑manage team members
• Ensure accurate completion of production and quality documentation

Essential Requirements:

• Strong fabrication manufacturing background (ESSENTIAL)
• 5+ years' experience in a supervisory or team‑lead role
• Solid understanding of welding/fabrication processes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Hands‑on leadership style with strong communication skills
• Results‑focused with a strong safety mindset

Desirable:

• LEAN manufacturing experience
• MIG/TIG, blast & paint knowledge
• Crane and forklift experience
