We are hiring a Global IT Vendor Manager for a Multinational Industrial Manufacturing & Global Technology Organisation, to own strategic outsourcing partner vendor relationships across a critical IT supplier portfolio. This is a senior stakeholder-facing position focused on governance, commercial performance, risk management and continuous improvement.

This is a high-impact role with a global scope where you will be managing core IT Outsourcing partnerships worth €50 -100 million.

• Contract: 12 months (extendable)
• Location: Dublin, hybrid (2-3 days in-office)
• Daily rate: €600/day

The role:

• Own governance and performance management for one or more global strategic IT outsourcing partners
• Lead executive-level relationships, acting as escalation point for service/relationship issues
• Drive annual partner engagement planning with IT Operations, Architecture and Supply Chain stakeholders
• Oversee invoicing and spend reporting, support financial governance across the portfolio
• Track and mitigate supplier risks; ensure controls and actions are in place
• Support partner selection and contract negotiation, including terms, changes, incentives and penalties
• Promote continuous improvement and measurable outcomes across delivery, innovation and collaboration

Expertise Required:

• 10+ years' experience in IT vendor management / supplier management, within large-scale outsourcing environments, managing large-scale strategic technology vendors
• Expertise in large-scale strategic vendor management, cost saving contract negotiations and key global IT outsourcing vendor relationships with budgets of €20m+
• Proven expertise in managing strategic IT vendors across international regions, preferably for international manufacturing operations and technology services
• Strong knowledge of global outsourcing providers, market trends, contracting and pricing models
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive outcomes across complex, matrixed organisations
• Experience with budget ownership, invoicing/spend reporting and contract financial management
• Degree educated (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or similar). Masters is advantageous
• ITIL certified with practical experience working in ITIL-aligned environments
