Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for medical device innovation and continuous improvement? Join our dynamic team in Manchester as a Senior Design and Sustaining Engineer, where you'll play a key role in maintaining product excellence and driving forward new developments.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing teams to enhance product performance.
• Support the design and development of consumable and electronic medical devices.
• Lead investigations into returned products and implement engineering improvements.
• Provide expert technical support to global customers and field teams.
• Conduct product inspections and verification testing to ensure quality and compliance.
• Develop clear, user-friendly technical documentation and training materials.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Degree in Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in design and sustaining engineering within the medical device industry.
• Strong knowledge of ISO13485 and design control processes.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.

Desirable:

• Experience with catheter design and active electrical medical devices.
• Skilled in root cause analysis and technical training delivery.
