Manufacturing Manager

SRG are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Manager to take lead across facilities based in Worcestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on challenge, change, and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in shaping the future of the site - driving performance, implementing new processes and leading a dedicated production team.

Key responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Lead day-to-day operations of the manufacturing site, ensuring production targets are met safely and efficiently
• Develop and write SOPs
• Assure regulatory compliance to BRC, GMP and chemical regulations
• Transfer processes from R&D to manufacturing
• Support with HACCP/TACCP/VACCP plans
• Work with the Warehouse Manager to operate a speciality warehousing operation
• Be responsible for health and safety onsite.

Criteria:

• Engineering qualification (e.g. Chemical Engineering)
• Experience in a leadership role within food manufacturing - essential
• Strong people management skills - able to engage, motivate and develop teams
• Excellent knowledge of manufacturing systems, health & safety and compliance requirements
• Driven to success and pro-actively engaging stakeholders to achieving end goals.
