Location - London/Remote (hybrid working)
Duration - 12 months
Rate - £40-58 per hour - Inside IR35
At SRG we are partnered with a global pharmaceutical company who are searching for an experienced Pharmacovigilance Scientist contractor to join their Safety Evaluation Risk Management team. This is an exciting role to apply a wide range of PV experience to their HIV franchise products and activities. Ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of Pharmacovigilance operations, systems and processes. You will need to have had an active role in conducting Safety Evaluation and Risk Management tasks and be able to start at short notice.
The Role
- Assisting with the monitoring and evaluation of safety profiles for allocated products to ensure that optimal decisions are made at all stages of the product lifecycle
- Conducting routine pharmacovigilance activities, signal detection/evaluation and leading authoring of key regulatory documents (e.g. DSURs, EU RMPs and PBRERs)
- Ensuring that all safety documentation is accurate and available to meet global compliance and regulatory requirements
- Driving discussions and the management of safety issues within the wider safety team
- Leading presentation of safety-related findings to senior stakeholders (including Vice President and Senior Leadership Teams) and to company's governance bodies
Your skills and experience
- Life sciences degree
- 3-5 years Pharmacovigilance experience in pharmaceutical industry
- Direct involvement within Safety Evaluation and Risk Management tasks (including signal detection activities, RMPs, Periodic reports etc.)
- Holistic understanding of the global PV system, and the dependencies of PV activities across the company
- In depth knowledge of standards and regulatory requirements/regulations and processes related to pharmacovigilance
- Experience with relevant software applications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a cross-functional environment
