Senior Medical Advisor

Location - Uxbridge/Remote (hybrid role)

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: up to £90,000 per annum (plus benefits)

SRG are currently supporting our client, a Global Pharmaceutical Company who have a new Senior Medical Advisor role available. This will is an excellent opportunity for a Medical Advisor with over 1 years' Med Affairs (and Final Signatory) experience to join the existing team and hit the ground running. This role will allow the successful candidate to become an integral part of the Medical team working on a major product in their portfolio during a period of sustained growth. Main Responsibilities include:

• Have an active role in UK Medical & Brand teams providing medical input into Brand Strategy
• Lead local strategies and align with strategies from European level
• Manage medical brand budgets
• Collaborate with other functions to ensure strategy is coordinated
• Identify and follow up Post Marketing Trials, manage Investigator Initiated Studies, co-ordinating budget and communicating updates to the European medical team
• Continuously update knowledge of products, patient treatment trends within the Disease Area
• Critically review promotional materials to ensure information is compliant in accordance with relevant regulatory bodies
• Prepare and/or contribute to disease area & product-specific training of internal stakeholders
• Assess promotional materials to ensure that all claims are supported by scientific data and presented in an accurate, fair and balanced manner, ensuring compliance with SOPs

Skills/experience required:

• GMC Registered Physician or GPhC Registered Pharmacist
• Functioning as an ABPI final signatory for at least 1 year
• Current experience as a Medical Advisor or similar role
• Up-to-date understanding of the UK healthcare environment is essential
• Experience in planning, implementation and execution of medical strategy and plan
• Able to swiftly and thoroughly learn about new therapy areas & environments
• Experience in contributing to HTA dossiers
