Job Title: Analytical Development Chemist

I am currently looking for an Analytical Development Chemist to join the world's leading inspection, verification, testing, and certification company. This site focuses on pharmaceutical development from early development right through to clinical manufacturing. They are a GMP facility. The successful candidate will develop and optimise analytical methods, test formulation development samples and perform method validation exercises. This would be the perfect opportunity for an experienced analytical chemist looking to take the next steps in their career to utilise and expand on their skill set.

Daily Responsibilities

  • The Chemist will be doing method development and evaluation typically using liquid chromatography.
  • They will be doing performance forced degradation studies on both APIs and finished products
  • Characterising APIs for solubility and compatibility.
  • Analytical methods will need to be optimised in liaison with the formulation scientists.

Essential Requirements

The successful Analytical Development Chemist will:

  • Be educated to degree level in a Chemistry related subject or have sufficient alternative experience.
  • Have experience with analytical testing of pharmaceutical products and strong theoretical and practical knowledge of HPLC analysis.
  • Have experience in Method evaluation and method development is required.
  • Experience with EMPOWER is also desirable.
