QA Executive /GDP assistant working closely with the QA manager in a pharmaceutical wholesale distribution role

SRG are supporting the rapid growth of a pharmaceutical wholesale distributor that imports and exports a wide range of healthcare products, domestically and globally. Established in the 1980s they are on a mission to improve global access to high quality, life-saving and life-enhancing medicines.

They are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Executive/ GDP (Good Distribution Practice) Compliance Assistant to join their team. You will be an ambitious individual who can drive quality and compliance through the business, ensuring the highest industry standards and work closely with the Managing Director and Quality Manager / RP to ensure that the company maintains the highest possible standards at all times. Key to your success will be your ability to work strategically, aid the development and usage of robust Quality Management Systems, implement quality initiatives and have a in depth knowledge of the MHRA and GDP.

Your role as Quality Assurance Executive/ GDP Compliance Assistant will be to:

  • Refine, maintain and implement the Quality Management Systems (QMS) on site
  • Help ensure our premises & equipment comply with GDP standards in line with MHRA guidelines
  • Actively develop, mentor, train and instill a company wide Good Distribution Practice (GDP) culture
  • Assist with management of GDP compliance and inspections, and complying with all company safety standards and SOPs
  • Complete Non-compliance reporting
  • Complete Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA)
  • Manage document control systems and final approval for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Identify and lead quality improvement projects
  • Keep up to date with legal and regulatory requirements
