Location: Birmingham

Contract: 6-12 months or Permanent

Working arrangement: Birmingham office-based (3 days a week, 2 days remote)

We're looking for an experienced Senior Buyer to join a construction business, supporting the procurement of materials and equipment for major facility build projects.

Ideally, you'll have strong experience purchasing construction materials and equipment for facility builds, working closely with project teams, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure materials are procured in line with project requirements, budgets and timescales.

Key experience:

• Procurement of materials and equipment for construction/facility build projects
• Strong supplier sourcing, negotiation and commercial experience
• Working closely with construction, engineering and project teams
• Managing procurement schedules, budgets and supplier performance
• Experience within life sciences/pharmaceutical construction would be advantageous, but isn't essential

The role can be offered as either a 6-12 month contract or permanent position and will be based out of the Birmingham office.
