Plant Operator | Water Treatment Facility | Limerick

Looking for a hands-on role in a plant, manufacturing, production or industrial environment?

We are recruiting for a Plant Operator to join a large water treatment facility in the Limerick area. This role would suit candidates from backgrounds such as Plant Operator, Process Operator, Production Operator, Manufacturing Operator, Machine Operator, Utilities Operator, Factory Operator, Industrial Operative or General Operative.

This is a varied role where you'll be responsible for monitoring equipment, carrying out plant checks, recording operational information and helping to ensure the site runs safely and efficiently.

The Role

• Monitor plant equipment and automated systems
• Carry out routine inspections and operational checks
• Record readings and complete reports
• Assist with troubleshooting operational issues
• General housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Help maintain a safe, clean and efficient site
• Work closely with other operators and site management
• Follow health, safety and environmental procedures

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a manufacturing, production, utilities or industrial environment
• Previous machine operation or process operation experience would be beneficial
• Good attention to detail
• Strong safety awareness
• Reliable and willing to learn
• Comfortable working as part of a team

Working Pattern

When shift cover is required:

• Rotating 2-on/3-off, 3-on/2-off shift pattern
• Day and night shifts
• 12-hour shifts Monday to Friday
• 10-hour shifts Saturday and Sunday

When shift cover is not required:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am to 5:00pm

Contract

• Initial contract through to the end of the year
• Strong likelihood of extension
