Pensions Administration IT Transformation Programme

Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid) | Contract: 6 Months, with strong likelihood of extension

We're looking for an experienced Contract Senior Business Analyst to play a lead role on a major IT transformation programme within a well-established Financial Services / Pensions administration business in Ireland. If you enjoy getting under the skin of complex operational processes and turning them into practical, technology-enabled solutions, this role gives you real scope to make an impact.

You'll work within a large-scale international programme, acting as the vital link between business stakeholders, operations teams and software developers, helping to shape and deliver significant enhancements to our core pensions administration platform. It's a hands-on, delivery-focused role for someone who enjoys managing multiple stakeholders and delivering Technology solutions that have a real impact on the business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading workshops with business stakeholders to gather, validate and document requirements
  • Producing high-quality BRDs, functional specifications, user stories and process documentation
  • Analysing current and future state business processes & translating them into clear, actionable development requirements
  • Acting as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, software developers and system architects
  • Supporting programme planning, prioritisation and delivery activities
  • Managing Business requirements throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identifying and escalating risks, issues and dependencies while ensuring solutions meet operational, regulatory and legislative requirements
  • Coordinating UAT, supporting defect management, business sign-off and deployment planning
  • Building strong working relationships across Operations, Technology, Change and Leadership teams
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and support automation and continuous improvement initiatives

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years' experience as a Senior Business Analyst supporting technology or change programmes
  • Proven experience on large-scale financial systems transformation projects, ideally within insurance, pensions or investment management areas / solutions
  • Strong track record of producing BRDs, functional specifications and process maps
  • Experience working closely with software development teams and solution design discussions
  • Confident stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills across all levels of an organisation
  • Experience coordinating UAT and supporting production releases
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities independently

Desirable requirements:

  • Experience within pensions, employee benefits, financial services or other regulated environments
  • Exposure to proprietary administration platforms or complex back-office systems
  • Experience with process automation and operational transformation initiatives
  • Background in outsourced administration or business process operations environments

Contract Details

  • Duration: 6 months, with the probability of extension.
  • Location: Dublin, Ireland - hybrid working model (2-3 days in Dublin city centre office)
  • Daily rate: €600-650 per day
