Regulatory Specialist

£36,000 - £43,000 - depending on experience

Hybrid working from Essex site

(3 days in office, 2 home working will be considered)

SRG is working with a leading manufacturer of speciality polymers based in the Essex area. Recently a new vacancy has opened for a regulatory specialist to join a closeknit compliance team. This is a great opportunity for someone with an understanding of chemical regulatory work looking to take the next step in their career. Applications welcome from people with previous regulatory experience in chemicals or a similar area, or people with relevant experience from a different discipline.

Role Description

Ensuring compliance with global chemical regulations by maintaining accurate classification, labelling, and safety data documentation

Reviewing and maintaining raw material and product data within SAP EHS, identifying inconsistencies and resolving data issues

Creating and updating safety data sheets and labels in line with GHS and regional regulatory requirements

Analysing regulatory data and communicating findings to support business decisions and project delivery

Supporting regulatory projects and improving processes by identifying inefficiencies, maintaining compliance systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Degree qualification preferably in chemicals or a similar scientific discipline
  • Recent experience working with chemicals regulatory standards, SAP EHS would be extremely advantageous
  • Previous experience working with REACH and GHS would be desirable
  • IT literate with Microsoft Office
  • Full right to work in the UK
