Duties

The preparation of samples for Syngenta's 'Screening Deck' project. The key tasks are dry sample dispensing at a weigh station ahead of solubilisation and reformat to 2D Matrix tubes. The preparation of sample solutions in mM concentrations ready for shipping to a CRO. Day to day the role will entail the picking, dispensing, reformatting and shipping of samples.

Skills

Experience of working in a laboratory environment in a similar industry, or at college.

Moderate level IT skills: Use of MS Excel, querying and reporting applications, laboratory LIMS systems (Eg, Mosaic)

Some experience of using Tecan liquid handling systems is highly desirable.

Education

A Levels

BSc Degree level if first job since graduation.
