About the Role


We are seeking a Recruitment Administrator to join a busy recruitment team on a 6-month temporary assignment, providing essential support across a high-volume recruitment function.


This is a fast-paced, process-driven role that would suit someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. You will play a key role in supporting candidates, hiring managers, and recruitment partners throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a professional and efficient experience for all stakeholders.



What You'll Be Responsible For
Recruitment Administration

  • Manage recruitment-related enquiries and act as a first point of contact for candidates and hiring managers
  • Coordinate interviews and support recruitment activities across multiple vacancies
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate information
  • Support onboarding and pre-employment screening processes


Systems & Data Management

  • Work extensively with Microsoft Office applications, including:
    • Outlook
    • Excel
    • Microsoft Lists
  • Coordinate and maintain job advertisements across the intranet, careers website, and external online platforms
  • Raise purchase orders using Microsoft D365
  • Maintain trackers, records, and recruitment reports
  • Ensure all data is accurate, up-to-date, and confidential


Customer Service & Stakeholder Support

  • Deliver a responsive and customer-focused service to candidates, managers, and external partners
  • Build positive relationships across the business
  • Keep stakeholders informed throughout the recruitment process
  • Support the successful delivery of recruitment activities within a fast-paced HR environment.


Administrative Support

  • Process recruitment documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Support invoice processing and purchase order administration
  • Assist with reporting and recruitment metrics where required



About You
You are organised, resilient, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly.
You'll bring:

  • Experience working in a busy office or administrative environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Teams and Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Confidence using business systems and learning new processes quickly


Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience of Microsoft D365 or similar systems
  • Experience of Microsoft Lists
  • Experience within recruitment, HR, or administration
  • Experience processing purchase orders or invoices

Location & Working Pattern

  • Based in Sedgefield, based onsite
  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday-Thursday: 08:30 - 17:00, Friday: 08:30 - 16:30
