Lead a Specialist Renal Care Service and Make a Real Difference

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced healthcare leader to take ownership of a well-established renal dialysis clinic, leading a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.
As Clinic Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping service delivery, supporting and developing staff, ensuring clinical excellence, and driving operational performance. You'll have the autonomy to influence outcomes while working in a highly specialised and rewarding area of healthcare.

The Role
As Clinic Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and performance of a specialist renal dialysis unit.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing clinical and support teams.
  • Ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.
  • Managing clinic operations, resources, staffing, and service delivery.
  • Driving quality improvement initiatives and maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Managing financial performance and resource utilisation.
  • Developing education and training plans for clinical staff.
  • Supporting service development and operational excellence.
  • Ensuring compliance with HIQA standards and relevant healthcare regulations.
  • Building a positive, patient-focused culture that promotes clinical excellence and teamwork.



Essential Requirements
*** Renal Care Experience is a Non-Negotiable Requirement ***
Candidates must demonstrate significant experience within renal services.
Required

  • Registered Nurse with active NMBI registration.
  • Minimum 5 years post-registration nursing experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working specifically in Renal Care/Dialysis Services (essential).
  • Experience leading, managing, or supervising healthcare teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
  • Financial and operational management experience within a healthcare setting.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive service improvements.


Preferred

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Specialist Renal Nursing, or willingness to undertake upon appointment.
  • Formal management qualification.
  • Experience in business development, service growth, or healthcare operations.
