We are looking for a commercially driven Finance Director to join our senior leadership team in a key board-level position. This is a part-time (3-4 days per week) role offering the opportunity to influence strategy and drive business performance in a dynamic organisation.

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead the finance function and play a central role in shaping the company's financial strategy and decision-making.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
• Providing strategic financial insight to support business decisions
• Overseeing monthly management accounts and performance reporting
• Managing cash flow, working capital, and key financial KPIs
• Ensuring compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements
• Managing relationships with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders
• Developing robust financial systems, controls, and risk management processes

About You

We are seeking an experienced finance leader who can operate both strategically and hands-on:

• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role
• Strong expertise in management and financial accounting
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Commercial mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to influence at board level and work collaboratively across teams
