Cybersecurity Solutions Architect / CyberSec Architect

Location: Dublin city centre - Hybrid role

Contract: 12 months, extendable

Rate: €650-€750 per day, neg.

A leading global technology organisation is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Solutions Architect to support the design and delivery of enterprise-scale security solutions across complex IT, cloud and operational technology environments.

This is a Senior Contract opportunity for a Cybersecurity Architect / CyberSec Solutions Architect who can translate business & technical requirements into practical, secure-by-design architectures.

The Role:

This role offers the opportunity of working on global Cybersecurity Infrastructure & Security solutions projects, architecture design & delivery of CyberSecurity Solutions, advising stakeholders and engaging with cross-functional teams to ensure the security & protection of all systems & data assets of a Fortune 500 Global Organisation.

You will:

• Produce & review architecture artefacts such as ROM's, HLD (High Level Design) and BRD (Business Requirements documentation) for enterprise solutions
• Design Cybersecurity solutions across enterprise IT, multi-cloud, AI-enabled and operational technology environments
• Develop & maintain CyberSecurity Strategy, security architecture standards, patterns & policies
• Advise on appropriate security controls and solutions to protect the business
• Assess proposed technology changes, identify security risks and advise on practical remediation or mitigations
• Perform Security reviews, identify gaps and develop security risk management plans.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, engineering and business teams to ensure security is embedded from design through delivery
• Research and evaluate emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies and regulatory drivers, translating these into practical architecture decisions

Expertise Required:

• Senior Level experience as a Cybersecurity Architect, Security Architect or IT Security Solutions Architect in large-scale enterprise environments
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity architecture principles, frameworks, standards and IT security by design approach
• Must have worked in International or Global Orgs previously
• Deep knowledge of key facets of Cybersecurity / network security, firewall concepts, cloud security and enterprise infrastructure architecture
• Experience with identity access management (IAM), applications security and operational technology (OT) concepts
• Ability to create clear, structured architecture artefacts and supervise implementation of designed solutions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, SABSA, TOGAF or equivalent are preferred

You will be comfortable working across multiple technology domains, balancing security solutions with commercial delivery while helping teams make informed decisions. You will have the ability to create security designs across cloud, infrastructure, AI, data, enterprise systems and operational technology to protect an international / Global Business.
