Mechanical Project Manager - Germany

About the Role

We are currently working with a leading engineering contractor who is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to deliver projects in Germany.

Reporting to the Construction Director, you will be responsible for the full delivery of mechanical projects from early stages through to completion.


Responsibilities

  • Manage mechanical projects from conception to handover
  • Control programme, budget, and project scope
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
  • Lead and manage site-based teams and subcontractors
  • Ensure timely delivery of reports, documentation, and project updates
  • Maintain compliance with company procedures and client requirements
  • Drive a strong health & safety culture on site

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Project Manager or similar
  • Relevant third-level engineering qualification
  • Strong experience in budgeting, scheduling, and project delivery
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven leadership and team management ability
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
