Group Regulatory Affairs Manager (Biocides)

38.75 hrs/week (08:30-17:00 notional hours with flexitime)

SRG is working with a leading manufacturer of biocidal and crop protection products. Recently a new vacancy has opened for a manager of regulatory activities with their product portfolio. This opportunity would suit someone with some previous experience managing a regulatory team in BPR, plant protection products or a similar regulatory discipline within chemicals. You will be responsible for keeping up to date with industry regulations and managing the company's regulatory portfolio. Applications welcome from regulatory professionals with experience in biocides or similar chemical regulations.

Role Description

  • Providing regulatory leadership for R&D projects to ensure new products reach the market efficiently and cost effectively.
  • Managing regulatory projects and submitting regulatory dossiers to relevant regulatory bodies
  • Keeping up to date with changes in territory regulatory requirements
  • Progressing regulatory projects whilst keeping to deadlines and budgets
  • Line management of Senior Regulatory Managers and Regulatory Managers, including performance reviews, coaching, workload planning, and staff development.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert within the business regarding all things regulatory and assisting colleagues regarding queries

Requirements

  • Significant recent experience in biocidal (BPR) regulatory affairs
  • Experience with regulatory dossier preparation and submission.
  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills
  • Formal project management qualifications would be desired but not essential
  • Full right to work in the UK.
