Temporary role projected to be long term

Looking for candidates who are available to start by 23rd March 26, based in Nottingham

We are currently looking to bring in four temporary laboratory technicians to support a project with a rapidly expanding diagnostic company based in Nottingham, due to their success. These could potentially lead to long term opportunities within the company, as they continue their growth.

The roles would involve routine molecular laboratory work, primarily:

* DNA extraction from environmental samples

* PCR preparation and amplification

* General laboratory sample processing and documentation

Required:

• Recent practical lab experience either in academia or industry of DNA extractions using manual or automated kits or PCR set up across manual and automated instruments.
• Laboratory experience in a regulated environment, desirable.

Relevant laboratory experience may include: processing biological samples; DNA extraction using manual extraction kits and or automated instruments; PCR manual setup and or using automated instruments; gel electrophoresis.

Ideally we are looking for candidates who are comfortable working evening/night shifts and some weekend work, as we are running an extended processing schedule.
