Cybersecurity Risk & Compliance Manager (Contract) - Global Scope

Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid)
Contract: 2‑year contract (extendable)
Rate: €700-€725 per day

We are seeking a Senior Manager of IT Security / Cybersecurity Risk & Governance for a Global Enterprise, operating across 150+ countries with manufacturing, technology, software development and related services activities.

This is a strategic, senior‑level position reporting directly into the Director of Global Enterprise Cybersecurity Risk, Compliance & Resilience with responsibility for stabilising, operating, and further maturing a global IT Security Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) programme.

This is a leadership role and so will best suit a senior Cybersecurity Risk & Compliance Manager for a high‑impact contract role within a Global Enterprise Cybersecurity function.

The Role

As Cybersecurity Risk & Compliance Manager, you will take ownership of day‑to‑day compliance operations while driving consistency, maturity and governance across a complex, global environment. Another Key part of your role will be to advance Analytics & Data maturity & automation of governance reporting. You will work closely with senior stakeholders across IT, Security, Risk, Audit and the wider business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and maturing a global IT Security GRC programme, ensuring a consistent and sustainable control environment
• Owning BAU compliance operations, audit cycles, and risk management processes
• Coordinating regulatory, industry and customer‑driven compliance obligations, ensuring governance & risk management of the estate / business to standards such as: SOX, CMMC, NIST, ISO 27001, SOC2, TISAX and GDPR.
• Managing and influencing a globally distributed team, providing direction, oversight and leadership
• Overseeing the performance and delivery of a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP)
• Driving improvements in Data Analytics, data quality, and governance reporting automation
• Supporting executive‑level reporting and cybersec compliance assurance

Essential Expertise:

This role is suited to a senior cybersecurity GRC professional with experience operating at scale in global organisations.

You will bring:

• Extensive experience in IT Security Risk, Compliance & Governance and the experience of operating same at scale in EMEA or Global Enterprises
• Strong knowledge of multiple international Cybersecurity / IT Security & Compliance frameworks
• Proven expertise in managing Cybersecurity compliance, controls and audits, ideally for an international enterprise
• Proven experience managing global stakeholders, teams and third‑party providers / vendors
• Track record of both stabilising and maturing GRC environments in complex enterprises
• Developing Reporting Dashboards & Analytics for Senior Stakeholders
• The credibility & communication skills to operate at Director and executive level
• Experience working in regulated, audit‑heavy environments (such as IT Security Consultancy, Fin Tech, Pharma, Automotive, Medical Devices, etc)
