Title: Shift QC Technician
Location: Wirral
Salary: £26500-£28500 per annum
Term: Permanent

SRG is working with a leading manufacturer of personal care, homecare, petcare and automotive products, based in the Wirral. They are now looking for 2 Shift QC Technicians to join the manufacturing team. The role involves checking incoming materials, carrying out a range of laboratory tests, keeping thorough and accurate records, resolving quality concerns, and ensuring laboratory instruments are correctly calibrated

Working Hours: SHIFT ROLES
Shift 1: Mon - Thu 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Shift:2 Mon - Thu 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Fri 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM Benefits:

Role / Description

• QC testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished product to check batches meet specifications
• Inspection and testing of incoming goods to ensure compliance with internal and external standards
• Making adjustments to batches to achieve in-spec products
• Completion of all quality-related documentation, including Batch Manufacturing Records
• Report quality control issues to Production and QA teams
• Wet chemistry testing and analysis of manufactured finished goods
• Calibration of lab equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of tests

Requirements

• BSC in chemistry or equivalent
• Previous experience in QC testing or wet chemistry testing (all industry background considered)
• Full right to work in the UK - there is no sponsorship available for this role
