Title: Applications Chemist - Fragrances

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

This exciting Applications Chemist opportunity would be well suited to a recent scientific graduate who is passionate about fragrances and keen to kick-start their career in a laboratory.

Role / Description

• Building relationships with fragrance houses to create fragrance briefs
• Formulating a variety of finished products to incorporate fragrances into
• Carrying out stability and fragrance strength panel testing
• Performing competitor benchmark testing
• Researching industry and seasonal fragrance trends.
  
  

Requirements

• Recently graduated in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Natural Sciences or similar
• An obvious passion for fragrances and/or the wider Personal Care/HI&I industries
• Accuracy in weighing and measuring out raw materials
• Creative and proactive, with a willingness to learn
• Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively with a multitude of departments
• Able to multi-task and change priorities quickly depending on business need.
