Maintenance Fitter | Full-Time Permanent

Shift Role: 2 days 2 nights and 4 off - 0600 - 1800 & 1800 - 0600

West Sussex, UK

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Fitter to play a key role in maximising plant availability and operational reliability within a fast-paced engineering environment.

This position focuses on delivering effective PPM, rapid fault diagnosis, and continuous engineering improvements while upholding high compliance and Health & Safety standards .

Key Responsibilities:
* Drive high plant availability through efficient breakdown response and fault diagnosis
* Implement timely and effective repairs and continuous improvement solutions
* Develop and maintain planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and inspection programmes
* Record recurrent faults and support engineered solutions to minimise downtime
* Carry out minor maintenance operations on plant and equipment
* Liaise with external contractors for specialised repair and maintenance activities
* Maintain strong adherence to H&S and environmental legislation and company policies

Requirements:
* Engineering qualification - advantageous
* Additional relevant engineering qualifications - desirable
