SRG are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a leading engineering organisation in Manchester on a contract basis. You'll be supporting a range of ongoing capital projects, providing technical expertise across design, modification, compliance, and commissioning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and review electrical design documentation, including schematics, cable schedules, load calculations and single‑line diagrams
• Lead and support modification projects, ensuring designs meet relevant standards and client specifications
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and site personnel to deliver high‑quality engineering solutions
• Oversee or support commissioning, testing and troubleshooting activities
• Ensure all work complies with relevant legislation (e.g., BS EN standards, ATEX, IEC, PUWER)
• Provide technical guidance and resolve engineering challenges during project execution.

Required Experience

• Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)
• Proven experience working in a manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of electrical systems design and LV/MV equipment
• Experience using engineering design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Amtech/Trimble, ETAP - depending on role).
