Marketing Manager

Location: London

Contract: 7 Months / 2 days per week onsite

Hours: 36.5 hours per week

Pay rate: £23.11p/h

Main Purpose of the Role

SRG are looking for a marketing manager for a leading higher education institute based in London. The Marketing Manager implements an integrated global marketing strategy to attract and convert a strong, diverse pipeline of applicants to education programmes.

The postholder will:

  • Deliver marketing plans that support student recruitment targets and diversity objectives.
  • Support strategic development of The Bartlett's marketing activity.
  • Work closely with academic and professional services colleagues to articulate and promote the unique value of studying with the institute.
  • Contribute to prospectus copy, CRM journeys, and key recruitment events.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Marketing Expertise & Collaboration

- Build knowledge of departments and programmes.

- Work with communications teams on campaigns.

- Align with the institute's marketing strategies.

  1. Programme Marketing & Applicant Journey

- Deliver programme-level marketing plans.

- Create digital content and manage paid media.

- Manage student ambassadors.

- Deliver Open Days and conversion events.

  1. Marketing Insights, Data & Performance

- Report on marketing performance.

- Analyse dashboards and applicant feedback.

- Conduct competitor analysis.

  1. Management & Leadership

- Line manage the Marketing Officer.

- Support budget planning and ROI reporting.

  1. Compliance, EDI & Sustainability

- Ensure GDPR, CMA and accessibility compliance.

- Apply EDI best practice.

- Support climate action commitments.

Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge

  • Experience delivering marketing plans and campaigns in complex stakeholder environments
  • Experience in cross‑channel digital marketing and event promotion
  • Experience using data analytics, dashboards, KPIs and competitor evaluation
  • Knowledge of GDPR (2018), CMA guidance and public‑sector accessibility requirements
  • Experience contributing to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives
