Job Title: Demand Planner (Fully Remote, Contract)

Pay Rate: £20.61 per hour (PAYE)

About the Role:
Join our team as a Demand Planner, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing our global demand planning processes. You'll be the key point of contact for process and system support, collaborating with senior leaders, regional teams, and external partners across multiple business units and countries. This is a high-impact, visible role where your expertise will drive best practices, training, and performance improvements worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of global demand planning processes, metrics, and systems.
- Drive system optimization and serve as the subject matter expert on volume and trade modeling.
- Develop and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance demand forecasting accuracy.
- Implement and refine advanced predictive planning and trade promotion management systems.
- Provide master-level training and field support to ensure effective system usage.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and leverage new technologies to enhance demand planning capabilities.
- Collaborate with senior leaders, demand planning teams, sales, and external vendors to drive process efficiencies and alignment.
- Transform data into actionable insights for smarter demand planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, economics, statistics, engineering, computer software, or a related field.
- 10+ years of proven success in demand planning and demand sensing, with expertise in commercially available systems.
OR
Master's degree with 7-10 years of relevant experience. - Strong technical expertise in statistical modeling, system optimization, and troubleshooting within demand planning platforms.
- Experience deploying large-scale demand planning processes and tools.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
