Electrical Design Engineer

Overview
An established engineering team in the North-East of Ireland is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer. The role involves designing modular and tank-based systems tailored to client specifications, with involvement across design, documentation, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop electrical circuit designs based on client requirements
• Produce drawings, BOMs, calculations, and technical documentation
• Maintain project records in line with quality standards
• Collaborate with clients to define and deliver technical solutions
• Ensure compliance with national and international standards
• Compile project documentation from suppliers and internal teams
• Review contractor documents (e.g. SATs, FATs, commissioning plans)
• Provide technical support during manufacturing and installation
• Perform electrical design calculations

Qualifications & Skills

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3-5 years' experience in electrical design
• Experience with EPlan or similar design software preferred
• Familiarity with CAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or SAP is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and commercial awareness
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel to project sites
• Practical and adaptable approach to engineering challenges
