MOBILE MULTISKILLED ENGINEER

Carbon60 is looking to recruit a Mobile Multiskilled Engineer to carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive call-outs across a range of Mechanical and Electrical Building Services.

ROLE: Mobile Multiskilled Engineer

PAY RATE: Competitive - based on experience

HOURS: Full-time, including out-of-hours call-out rota

CONTRACT TYPE: Temporary / Ongoing

LOCATION: So40

THE ROLE:
Deliver high-quality PPM and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical building services, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Ensure all work complies with site schedules, CAFM systems, SHEQ standards, and contractual KPI/SLA requirements
Prepare and follow Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks.
Supervise and monitor subcontractors' works while on-site.
Maintain accurate site logbooks and records of maintenance, inspections, and test results.
Provide technical support in emergency situations to maintain operational continuity.
Ensure PPE, tools, and equipment meet safety standards.
Support Helpdesk with reporting and updates on PPM and reactive maintenance tasks.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Experienced in both Mechanical and Electrical Building Services maintenance.
Skilled in fault-finding and rectifying plant and equipment issues
Competent in health and safety practices and statutory compliance.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently, as part of a team, and supervise subcontractors.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
Electrical:
Base Electrical Qualification C&G Part A & B or equivalent (236 Pt 1 & 2, AM1 & AM2)
C&G 2330 Level 2 & 3 or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382)
NICEIC Periodic Inspection, Testing, and Certification (C&G 2391/2394/2395)

Mechanical:
BTEC Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC
C&G 6188 Level 2 Heating & Ventilation or C&G 7188 Level 3
Competent Person Mechanical and Pressure Systems
Experienced in plumbing system maintenance and fault rectification

Additional:
EUSR National Water Hygiene Card
Clean UK Driving License

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Candidates must be smart, professional, and able to represent the company on client sites.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proactive approach required.
Ability to maintain high standards while working on own initiative or supervising teams.
