Mine Production Controller
Location: Navan, County Meath

A fantastic opportunity has opened up for a Mine Production Controller to join a dynamic team within a leading mining operation. This role plays a critical part in ensuring production targets are met through effective scheduling, real-time monitoring, and data analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage detailed shift schedules aligned with weekly production plans.
• Generate and distribute work orders for internal teams and external contractors.
• Lead shift startup meetings with mine supervisors to ensure alignment and readiness.
• Monitor live production data and adjust plans as needed to maintain output targets.
• Compile activity reports and conduct performance analysis.
• Support emergency response procedures when required.

What You'll Bring:

• A third-level qualification in a relevant field or a graduate degree in mining or a related discipline.
• Experience in production scheduling within heavy industry is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and data reporting.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Flexibility to work shifts and adapt to changing operational needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
• A passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
• A valid driver's licence.

• This is a staff role involving shift work across a 24/7 operational schedule.
