Pharmaceutical Product Assistant/ Product Manager

Hitchin - Herts - (Driving license is strongly recommended as public transport is limited)

Permanent - Hybrid (3 days on-site)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with a background in pharmaceutical marketing, to join a busy and thriving pharmaceutical organisation based in Hertfordshire, in a small town near Stevenage.

This role sits within the Sales and Marketing team and will revolve around the development and implementation of strategies for promotion of specific brands and contributing towards the sales growth mission.

To be successful in this role, you would need a solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, as well as experience in marketing (Creative scientific writing). The ideal candidate would be able to manage projects and work to strict timelines.

Core responsibilities:

  • Craft and roll-out the promotional plan for various over-the-counter products and designated brands within the business portfolio.
  • Analyse the wider market including competitors and use data from sales figures to inform next steps in the promotional strategy.
  • Create custom communications which will include marketing materials, educational copy, and sales support content aimed at the healthcare market in the UK and Ireland.
  • Manage timelines, budgets and project milestones from conception to completion.

Your background:

  • You will bring demonstrable and recent content marketing experience, ideally from the pharmaceutical and/or NHS space.
  • You will have recently created and managed projects which include budgeting and milestone management.
  • You will have excellent writing skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Attention to detail is essential in this role.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, solutions-focused and creative in your approach.
  • Very organised, accustomed to working to deadlines and collaborating with a number of stakeholders to deliver projects on time and to budget.
  • Proficient in use of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and design packages.
