Principal Consultant - Procurement

Salary: £66,000 p/a

Overview

SRG are seeking talented professionals to join a leading consultancy company based in the UK across four seniority levels. You must be focused on delivering innovative procurement solutions, particularly within the public sector, and we are looking for candidates who bring strategic thinking, measurable impact, and sector-specific expertise.

Key Candidate Requirements

• Consultancy experience is essential for senior-level roles unless the candidate demonstrates exceptional capabilities.
• A background in law is highly desirable.
• Completion of the Government Civil Service Fast Stream is a strong advantage.
• Must have completed training on the new Procurement Act.
• Experience in implementation of the Procurement Act, particularly within government, is highly valued.
• Must be able to demonstrate and explain how you've implemented cost savings objectives.
• Candidates should have experience restructuring tenures and creating measurable improvements.
• Candidates should demonstrate creative, outside-the-box approaches to procurement challenges.
