Regulatory Officer - Chemicals

Hybrid working from Northamptonshire

Salary - £35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience

SRG is working with a leading manufacturer of speciality chemicals. Recently, the company has created a new regulatory role to join the team on a permanent basis. The role would suit someone with a proven track record of compliance with REACH and other chemical regulations. This would be a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in the chemicals sector to step into a role where they'll be the main point of contact for regulatory compliance in the business. Applications welcome from various regulatory backgrounds within the chemicals industry.

Role Description

• Ensuring regulatory compliance with various chemical regulations, such as, REACH, CLP, GHS, OSHA, TSCA, FDA, ISO 14001
• Coordinating all regulatory and product stewardship related practices within the business
• Maintaining and updating safety data sheets (SDS's)
• Conducting risk assessments relating to hazardous materials
• Working closely with external agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure all regulatory requirements have been met

Requirements

• A strong understanding of the chemicals regulatory landscape and requirements for manufactured products
• Significant recent experience working with REACH and SDS's
• An understanding of CLP, GHS, TSCA and OSHA would also be highly advantageous
• Willing to commute to the Northamptonshire area on a hybrid basis
• Full right to work in the UK.
