An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join a leading manufacturing business in the South East. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving supply chain performance, production planning, and inventory management to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead production and materials planning to ensure timely and efficient manufacturing output.
  • Oversee procurement of raw materials and packaging, maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Drive improvements in supply chain KPIs including OTIF, schedule adherence, and inventory days.
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, and R&D teams to support new product launches and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and mentor the Planning and Supply Chain teams.
  • Implement agile supply chain strategies to enhance flexibility and responsiveness.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and capacity planning processes.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date master data across supply chain systems.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in production planning and procurement within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., MS Nav, Oracle) and advanced Excel.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to influence across all levels.
