Quality Officer

South Wales

£35,000 - £39,000

SRG are looking for a Quality Officer to join a leading provider of nutraceutical products based in South Wales. Established for over 30 years, the company develop & manufacturer an innovative range of products that are sold globally, and support ongoing research & development of products that can improve health, support other treatments & alleviate side effects.

The Role:

As the Quality Officer, you will be leading a small team of Quality Technicians and working closely with the Quality Manager to ensure strict quality standards are maintained. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the Inspection, testing and approval of products to ensure safety, quality and timely release.
  • Leading investigations into OOS, complaints and non-conformance.
  • Monitor & analyse & report quality KPIs.
  • Oversee Environmental monitoring & water testing programmes.
  • Support internal audits & drive continuous improvement activities.

Required:

  • Degree or similar qualification in a relevant scientific subject.
  • Proven experience in a similar quality focused position within Pharmaceutical or Food manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of MHRA / GMP / or BRC compliance
  • Confident in leading a small team.
  • Experience in supporting or leading internal audits.
