Facilities Manager

What You'll Be Doing
- Facility Operations: Oversee the smooth running of utilities, support equipment, lighting, and building systems to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Preventative Maintenance: Develop and manage maintenance schedules for infrastructure and equipment, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Compliance Leadership: Ensure full adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations-local, national, and industry-specific.
- Vendor & Contractor Management: Source, negotiate, and manage service contracts for cleaning, security, waste, and maintenance.
- Budget Oversight: Prepare and manage the facilities budget, including forecasting for repairs, upgrades, and capital improvements.
- Project Delivery: Lead facility-related projects such as expansions, renovations, and equipment installations-on time and within budget.
- Sustainability Focus: Identify and implement energy-saving and waste-reduction initiatives to support broader environmental goals.
What You Bring
- A degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in facilities management, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
