What You'll Be Doing

• Facility Operations: Oversee the smooth running of utilities, support equipment, lighting, and building systems to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
• Preventative Maintenance: Develop and manage maintenance schedules for infrastructure and equipment, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Compliance Leadership: Ensure full adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations-local, national, and industry-specific.
• Vendor & Contractor Management: Source, negotiate, and manage service contracts for cleaning, security, waste, and maintenance.
• Budget Oversight: Prepare and manage the facilities budget, including forecasting for repairs, upgrades, and capital improvements.
• Project Delivery: Lead facility-related projects such as expansions, renovations, and equipment installations-on time and within budget.
• Sustainability Focus: Identify and implement energy-saving and waste-reduction initiatives to support broader environmental goals.

What You Bring

• A degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in facilities management, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
