We are proud to announce that SRG is now represented on the Life Sciences Talent Board, with our very own Behruz Sheikh – our Head of Life Sciences – confirmed as an interim board member.
The talent board is part of London’s Inclusive Talent Strategy – a bold new workforce plan for London, recently launched by the Mayor of London and London Councils to help build a fairer economy by putting employers in the driving seat for skills in London; supporting more Londoners to get into good jobs; and tackling the barriers to retaining talent in the city.
In addition to boosting productivity across the capital, the strategy will address the barriers that stop people from entering and staying in good work, ensuring London is the most attractive place in the world for talent, regardless of background.
At SRG, we are committed to driving employer-led skills development and helping Life Sciences talent find, take, and develop within exciting, prosperous career opportunities. We are excited to be a part of a movement that aligns with our efforts to make Life Sciences more inclusive and accessible to all.
Following confirmation of SRG’s position as an interim member of the Life Sciences Talent Board, Behruz Sheikh said:
“Working towards a more employer-led skills system means ensuring training leads to real jobs, improving job readiness, and building more diverse talent pipelines. That’s why we are excited to be supporting the development of the Mayor of London’s Sector Talent Boards.“
With plans for the Inclusive Talent Strategy already in motion, inaugural Sector Talent Board meetings are set to commence in late November, and we are looking forward to participating and sharing ideas that will help shape the future of the Life Sciences workforce.
