SRG, the leader in the Life Sciences human capital industry, is looking for a Systems Administrator consultant to join our client's pharmaceutical manufacturing team. This role will work with a variety of lab equipment, including SoloVPEs, Nova Flex2s, Kingfisher Apex, LabChips, Wave Rockers, and Sartochecks.

*W2 or 1099 contract only, this position cannot accept visa status candidates at this time.

MUST HAVES:

  • Experience with Biovia U Lab
  • Background in data integrity and the pharmaceutical industry
  • Hands-on experience with commissioning equipment, including direct interaction with equipment
  • Understanding of most or all of the following: SoloVPEs, Nova Flex2s, Kingfisher Apex, LabChips, Wave Rockers, and Sartochecks
  • Strong documentation skills, independently
  • Willingness to gown into controlled areas
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

System & Equipment Support

  • Perform system administration tasks, including equipment commissioning and basic troubleshooting.
  • Execute streamlined commissioning processes for support-impact equipment.
  • Work directly with equipment to develop SOPs, configuration specs, and templates.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Onboard new equipment in alignment with client protocols and compliance standards.
  • Ensure proper documentation for systems, even those up to 8 years old and lacking existing records.
  • Securely route system data to designated storage locations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with process sciences teams transitioning into GMP environments to ensure equipment control and documentation readiness.
  • Maintain strong communication and coordination across departments to support operational needs.

Operational Flexibility

  • Travel between multiple buildings daily to provide on-site equipment and system support.
  • Gown into controlled areas as needed, adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.

Project Scope

  • Support a phased initiative involving 320 Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and 70 systems, including multiple units of similar configuration, over an 18-month timeline.
