Quality IT Project Manager (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)
SRG, the leader in the Life Sciences human capital industry, is looking for a full-time, contract IT Project Manager to join our client's pharmaceutical manufacturing team in Morristown, NJ. This role is responsible for planning, overseeing, leading and delivering large-scale IT projects in an international environment. This position deals predominantly with Quality IT Application projects (implementation of new and deployment of existing Software packages such as TrackWise, Kneat, Cornerstone, Documentum management system, Quality management system, DMS.
*W2 contract only
MUST HAVES:
- 5+ years' experience in IT Pharma Quality applications roles; Master Degree required
- M&A project
- Thorough understanding of project management principles and planning
- Thorough understanding of information technology procedures and practices
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to motivate groups of people to complete a project in a timely manner
- Active Negotiation Skills
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Acting as the SME for quality and labs projects. Take accountability for delivery in scope, on budget and on schedule.
- Provide the Quality and Labs expertise on the program or cross project when is required
- Identifies and defines business cases that support the implementation of Quality and Laboratory Systems.
- Establish project plans and budgets
- Set and track milestones and deliverables
- Identify project risks and issues and propose mitigation actions
- Manage unforeseen situations / delays, realign schedule and expectations as needed
- Accountable for GxP validation and adherence to IT security policies
- Lead meetings and report as part of such meetings
- Establish and implement project communication plans, provide status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
- Assess business impacts of IT projects, organize change management and manage internal and external stakeholders
