We are working on an exciting opportunity for a People Advisor to join a global medical products and technologies company. Our client is focused on solutions for the management of chronic conditions, with leading positions in advanced wound care, ostomy care, continence care, and infusion care.

Role Scope

We are looking for a talented HR People Advisor to support a growing customer service team in France. This advisor will support the organization to ensure a robust and high-quality delivery of HR support across all stages of the employee lifecycle.

Key Accountabilities

  • Oversee and manage end to end and from A to Z the employee administrative life cycle ( on boarding, offboarding, health insurance registration, payroll supervision etc) for a team of employees in France.
  • Work with corporate HR team to integrate processes, procedures, systems, and services for employees and parent company.
  • Provide timely support and advice to HR People Partner, employees and line managers on all lifecycle HR aspects, acting as the first point of contact for many policy and process queries.
  • Ensure the delivery of seamless and accurate HR processes and services, with a key focus on enhancing the employee experience.
  • Liaise with people managers to maintain data in the HR system (Workday) following e.g. comp data audits
  • Connecting people managers with the people partner on related processes around hiring, promotions, salary administration, out of cycle merit increases.
  • Execution of onboarding activities and support and advice to people managers and new hires during the onboarding process
  • Participate in regional projects as assigned by HR VP.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Proven experience in generalist HR is essential, with demonstrated required functional knowledge & expertise preferred.
  • Works council experience is a strong advantage.
  • Fluent in French and English, verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and build strong partnerships with key stakeholders in a complex, and matrixed environment.
  • Ability to influence and build trust with managers and employees at all levels of the business.
  • Willing to roll the sleeves up and get involved in any aspect of HR work that impacts the client groups.
  • Curious; proactively ask questions about wider context in order to understand where to provide most business value.
  • Exceptional conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced situations that require sound decision making
  • High degree of comfort with change, with the skill to easily shift priorities to meet business needs
  • Strong analysis and problem -solving skills, able to carry out root cause analysis
  • Strong service delivery skills with the ability to view differing perspectives across the business. A strong focus on the employee experience is essential.
  • A working knowledge of Workday or similar HR system would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy; and
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills.
