£13.25/hour. 36 hours/week

SRG are working with a global chemical manufacturer who are looking for a Production Support Officer to join their team on an initial 9 month contract, with the potential for longer term work.

The Production Support Officer will provide scheduling and admin support to the production supply chain by receipting raw materials, initiating and tracking deliveries and collections, and dispatching products in line with business expectations.

Duties:

  • Record and update business systems in a timely manner, to give accurate visibility of purchases, plans, customer promises and financials.
  • Dispatching of materials.
  • Document control, checking and archiving.
  • Raise purchase orders for packaged chemicals, bulk chemicals, and empty packaging in line with manufacturing requirements.
  • Purchase pre-printed product labels, maintaining sufficient stock to ensure compliant dispatch of active ingredient.
  • Create and print relevant site waste and CLP labels.
  • Maintain schedule of deliveries.
  • Stock checking and reconciliation of packaged and bulk materials
  • Resolution of blocked invoices
  • Support site waste administrative activities as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within a Supply Chain / Manufacturing Environment
  • SAP experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong IT & admin skills with a good attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Planning and organisational skills
