Quality Control Inspector II

About the Role

Help make sure the products we ship are safe, reliable, and built to the highest standard. As a Quality Control Inspector II, you'll inspect and test incoming materials, in-process materials, and finished goods, keeping our quality records accurate and our operations in line with FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and cGMP requirements.

You'll work closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality Assurance, and you'll be a go-to resource for quality questions on the floor.

What You'll Do

  • Perform in-process and final inspections using tools like calipers, rulers, and dataloggers
  • Test raw materials, intermediates, and finished products for dimensions, performance, appearance, and correct assembly
  • Pull random samples at incoming, in-process, and final stages per sampling procedures
  • Review inspection data for accuracy, help trend results, and escalate excursions promptly
  • Support OOS investigations, nonconformances, and CAPAs with factual data and documentation
  • Contribute to test method validation and help write and update procedures, protocols, logbooks, and checklists
  • Maintain Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and support document control, change control, and complaint handling
  • Help prepare for FDA audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections
  • Keep inspection equipment, inventory, and your workspace organized and compliant
  • Gown and enter the cleanroom as needed
  • Suggest ideas to improve workflows and inspection processes

What You Bring

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of standard laboratory and inspection practices and safety
  • Familiarity with FDA and/or ISO standards in a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of GMP and GDP
  • Moderate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and database systems
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions precisely, recognize deviations, and recommend corrective action

Preferred

  • Associate degree or technical certification in life sciences, quality, or a related field
