We are looking for a Medical Affairs Communications Senior Manager! The right candidate will have demonstrated experience across medical communications, medical information, publications, and digital innovation with strong cross-functional collaboration skills and leadership within strategic planning for congress activities, development of medical materials, and promotional medical review.

Duration: Long-term contract, 1 year+ extensions
Location: Whippany, NJ HYBRID! (3/2)

Job Purpose
This role is responsible for supporting medical affairs communications strategy, ensuring timely and effective dissemination of scientific data to physicians, pharmacists, investigators, healthcare institutions, agencies, and patients. The Senior Manager Medical Affairs Communications will oversee the development of medical response documents and FAQs, medical review of promotional and US Medical Affairs materials, and cross-functional collaborations to support Bayer's therapeutic portfolio.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced degree (PharmD, MD, PhD) with pharmaceutical or medical device industry experience, or equivalent clinical background.
  • Strong understanding of peer-reviewed literature, consensus guidelines, and medical communications best practices.
  • Proven ability to interpret, synthesize, and communicate complex scientific information to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in medical information services, drug information, or medical communications within a pharma or biotech company.
  • Strong problem-solving, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Experience in medical training development and scientific content creation is preferred.
  • Experience with budget management, team leadership, and stakeholder engagement is a plus.
  • 2+ years of industry experience, preferred.
  • Prior launch experience is preferred.
