We're looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide second-level, hands-on support in a mixed PC and Mac environment. You'll troubleshoot hardware and software issues, deliver first-line customer service, and help keep our technology current across departments.

What You'll Do

• Provide primary and second-level support for PC and Mac systems, including troubleshooting, repairs, and OS updates
• Manage Mac hardware/software refreshes and evaluate new systems for implementation
• Support Mac OS, Parallels/Bootcamp virtual machines, Safari/Firefox, and Microsoft Office for Mac
• Troubleshoot mobile device, telecommunications, and audiovisual issues across clinical, research, business, and meeting settings
• Assist with telecom and AV system implementations
• Perform video/slideshow editing, splicing, and sound sync for AV projects as needed
• Train end users and provide technical guidance

What You'll Need

• 3+ years of desktop/PC hardware and software support experience in a high-volume environment (mobile device/PDA experience a plus)
• Solid troubleshooting skills and LAN experience
• Strong customer service skills
• A+ Certification (or equivalent relevant to PC support, telecom, or AV) within 2 months of hire, where applicable
• Valid California driver's license and good driving record, where applicable
